Anyone else feel like their car just gives up when it gets hot?

I swear my car is a fair weather friend. The second the temperature hits 90 degrees, the air conditioning just loses its mind. It started with a weak airflow last summer, and now it barely keeps the car cool enough to stop the windows from fogging up. It’s frustrating because I drive a lot for work, and sitting in traffic with the sun beating down makes it impossible to focus. I’m trying to figure out if it’s a refrigerant leak or something electrical, but honestly, these automotive climate system problems always seem to pop up at the worst possible time. It usually starts with a weird noise or a smell, and then the cool air just disappears completely. I’m hoping a professional can actually figure out where the cold air is going before I melt during my commute.
