Looking for an O2 sensor simulator — worth it?

Anyone here used an O₂ sensor simulator for diagnostic purposes? We get a lot of cars with emissions faults, and sometimes it would help to simulate the signal to confirm whether the issue is wiring, ECU, or the sensor itself. I’m thinking about getting a small standalone simulator. Does it actually speed things up?

O₂ sensor simulators can make diagnostics much easier, especially when it’s unclear whether the issue is in the wiring, the ECU, or the sensor itself. A simulator allows you to feed a stable reference signal and see how the system responds, which helps narrow down faults quickly. ECUTools offers several O₂ simulators that are simple to connect, require no complicated setup, and work well for emissions troubleshooting https://ecutools.eu/
