What kind of restaurants do you prefer in Houston TX?

I am very happy that Houston has a variety of restaurants, each representing a different cuisine. I like Mexican food the most, but I would try something new. What kind of restaurants do you prefer in Houston TX?

Have you ever tried Mediterranean cuisine? I think you'll like it because there are a lot of savory dishes. I recently went to Aladdin Houston, they have a lot of variety on their menu and they specialize in Mediterranean cuisine. My favorite was the lamb gyros. It's a very specific meat to cook, but their chef does wonders with it.
